Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and friendly/helpful staff at this resort. We took advantage of the pool, dry and steam sauna. The food was very good and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. There is a short walk to the beach but once there, it is amazing!

Beautiful modern comfortable relaxed hotel. Excellent shower and great housekeeping. Lovely clean pool . Superb views. 10min to fantastic beach. Great variety of breakfasts and lovely helpful staff.

This was by far my worst experience in a Pestana Hotel. First our reservation was done to Pestana Porto Santo, and was changed 10 days before our travel to Pestana Ilha Dourada. Then when we got to Ilha Dourada we realized this was not a common Pestana. From a small restaurant with very limited options ( buffet was the same 4 days in a row), to a service far from professional (food allergies messed in the kitchen, employees making fun of guests, room not cleaned after request, etc) or a bathroom that is far from being acceptable in this hotel group, this is an experience not be repeated. A special note to the employees at the reception that tried their best to solve the issues and help during our stay. They are the only reason why I don't rate lower.

An excellent stay in one of the Villas. Very comfortable and quiet with plenty of space and our own terrace. The staff were excellent and provided beach towels and parasol. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. For resting there was a beautiful pool. Everything was very clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone visiting Porto Santo..
